Two Steps From Hell - Dark Ages
In an event that later became known as the 'Battle of Crows', the tribes turned on each other in the later days of the Caern Wars. When many of the other tribes wanted to strike out at the Magi for their attacks against their sacred places, the Uktena advised caution and patience. Tribes like the Shadow Lords and the Get of Fenris wanted to strike back hard and fast - to their near destruction in the area. When the dust settled and the smoke cleared they turned on the Uktena for not warning them of the destructive power that the Magi could bring to the fight. The survivors of the Get and the Shadow Lords attacked the Uktena survivors openly forcing the Uktena to defend themselves against their own people.
Many of the warriors for the two tribes, the Get and the Shadowlords, were lost. The Uktena who did not die in the battles with the Magi were then cut down in the battle. In the end, many of the survivors of their people retreated to their own lands leaving LATMA without their strength. The Uktena slunk off to the shadows and waited.
